Announcing our First Release

October 29, 2019

Today we're thrilled to announce the first generally available version of Tranquil Data. This initial release represents more than two years of research and development. Thank you to all of our users, advisors, and advocates who helped us get here. An especially huge thank you to our investors who believed in the vision long before there was a product, especially the awesome teams at Hyperplane and First Star.

Our team is excited to share with you what we've been working on, and to help you on your journey to get the most value out of your data. What does that  mean? We've written about our motivation and the immediate business value to your team. We also have some thoughts on how engineering teams can get started and using our software today to move faster.

Tranquil Data is designed differently. We believe that a proactive approach to business requirements, adopted early in project lifecycles, improves products and fosters collaboration between stakeholders. When you create that kind of alignment across business and technology roles, you create opportunity. In that spirit, you'll see announcements over the coming weeks about the like-minded companies we're partnering with.

As with any enterprise offering, our initial release is a starting point. We're proud of what we've built, and the value it brings to teams now, but we're focused on how it grows and evolves to tackle the most pressing issues businesses face today. If you're interested in learning more about what we're building, or working with us, please get in touch. We'd love to help you realize the opportunities locked in your data.

Data exists in the context of business agreements. When you give your data that voice, suddenly the opportunities becomes clear. Listen to your data, and feel calm confidence as you scale. #betranquil
